Hello Friends and Family of Hollywood Chapter! I would first like to thank everyone that attended our awards night this past Saturday. It was a huge success thanks to your support. We have an initiation coming up this Friday May 12 at 7:00 p.m. at Hollywood Lodge, 19620 Ventura Blvd., Tarzana, CA 91356. We will be welcoming two new members into our family. Please come support these young men as they work hard to memorize and perform their parts. Saturday from 11:00 am to 3 pm we will be having a park day at O'Melveny Park, 17300 Sesnon Blvd, Granada Hills, CA 91344. The Chapter members have signed up to bring snacks, food and drinks as this is a pot luck style picnic. Please remind/ask your son what he signed up to bring. This event is open to everyone. Saturday evening, we have our League Sweetheart Ball honoring all our hardworking sweethearts and princess from Neo-Trital League. The Sweetheart's Ball will be at the Pasadena Scottish Rite, 150 N. Madison Ave., Pasadena, CA 91101. There is an entrance fee of $7.00 per person to help support the League Sweetheart/Princess program. Our installation of officers will be on Saturday June 3, 2017. Come support the Chapter and the new line of officers for the next six months. Being installed as Junior Councilor is Mr. Donovan Inniss, Senior Councilor is Mr. Kole Kurowski and Master Councilor Mr. Oliver Rodriguez. On Saturday May 20th, our League, Neo-Trital is supporting Relay 4 Life. Relay 4 Life is an event sponsored by the American Cancer Society. We have all been touched by this terrible disease in one way or another. If you have never attended a Relay 4 Life, you are missing out on a lot of good people coming together to remember and/or support, a loved one or a friend that has been affected by cancer. This is a 24 hour event starting on Saturday at 9:00 lasting until Sunday at 9:00 am. Our League has the 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. time slot with our League meeting to follow at 6:00 a.m. If you are able to come, please do as this event will forever be engraved in your heart, especially the lighting of the luminaries.
